OK PACKWOOD camping
Trying a new place this year, MUCH CLOSER to the track, and very accomidating to the party.

Walking distance to the fire department and the track, down side is you have to go offsite for the showers, but he is making arrangements for us. less expensive than the other place too.

There are county wide fire restricitions, so if you want a fire you need to bring a state approved fire pit (one with a screen) and let him kbnow when making your reservation that you are bringing one.

He will be grouping you by club, so let him know when you register what club your running with. and definately let him know your coming for the smackdown so you get the discount

i think i like the other place better this one seems to be to open. and the having no fires will be no good because of how cold it get in the night time. just my two cents

i just think this place is better and for only 5 bucks more you have everything you need and dont have to bring a firepit

according to the fire dept ts acounty wide fire ban on open fires.

cascade peaks is also ten miles away, vs walking distance. and they have screwed up camping reservations every time we went. remember the first year they promised us one price then changed it on everybody when thet showed up? then last year we paid in advance booked specific sites for each group, when we showed up it was a confused mess and no one ended up where they were supposed to be. but camp wherever you like

i dont care where we camp, the county wide ban sucks, doesn't make sense going by the weather though oh well nothing we can do there!

i liked the other place alot! it was away from the other people camping.

and walking distence.. i still thinking people will just drive over.

The fire ban might be off by the time you get up there anyway.

In all reality it doesn't  They are putting on the event and they did all the footwork for camping accommodations. Like he said if you don't like it your welcome to camp somewhere else
